Redwood: Use Redwood-Style FYI Notifications
This feature provides an enhanced user experience in keeping with Redwood styles and standards when you're reviewing FYI notifications of change orders, change requests, corrective actions, problem reports and new item requests. This applies to both the in-app and email notifications.
The following attributes are available in notifications:

Organization: when applicable.

Object Number or Object Name

Status of the notification

Assigned Date

Task Number: when applicable.
Specifically, you will also see the following attributes in notifications:

Change and New Item Request FYI Notification (excludes Send Objects notification):

In Details section:

Object Number: Link that opens the change details in a new ADF or Redwood page, depending on your profile option.

Comments: This is conditional. Comments provided by the user are displayed only when the object is approved, deleted, rejected or cancelled.

<Rejected/Approved/Removed/Canceled> By: User who made the action.

Reject Reason: only shows when object is rejected.

The Affected Objects (for Change) or Item (for New Item Request) section includes the Affected Item Number, Item Description, Item Class, Effective Date, Item Status, Status, Request Id. This section is not available in Task Assigned Notifications.

The Tasks section includes Task Name, Description, Required, Start-by Status, Complete Before Status, Task Status, Assigned To, Need-by Date, Assigned By, Assigned On. This is shown only in Task Assigned FYI Notifications.

When promotion fails, the Message section displays the following message: Error in workflow, see object action log for more details.

In addition, the Send Objects notifications of Item, Idea, Concept, Proposal, Requirement Specification, Quality Action and Quality Issue are also in the new Redwood user interface.

This feature provides the user with modern and refined Redwood experience for reviewing FYI notifications.

Use the Opt In UI to enable this feature. For instructions, refer to the Optional Uptake of New Features section of this document.

In case, you want to display additional attributes in the notification, you would need to configure the new predefined template. Configuration is only available for Change Order, Change Request, Problem Report, Corrective Action, New Item Request and Items.
