Redwood: Monitor Negotiation in Supplier Portal

Suppliers can now actively track their position and competition, and swiftly revise their responses in an enhanced redwood experience.

The new Monitor page provides real-time visibility into the progress of their responses during active negotiations. This page autorefreshes whenever a competing response is submitted. This ensures suppliers stay informed and allows them to react promptly to any changes in their ranking. Suppliers can also manually refresh the page for immediate updates.

This feature is available in Auctions and RFQs when:

  • Response visibility is Open
  • Response visibility is Blind, but Rank or Best Price, or both Rank and Best Price is displayed to suppliers.

Upon refresh, suppliers can see key metrics like their response amount, lines trailing and lines winning. They can also see the percentage by which each line is trailing the best response.

Also upon refresh, arrow indicators highlight the favorable or unfavorable changes in their positions due to the bidding activity. These indicators highlight lines where price changes have occurred and where rank updates have been made since the last refresh.

The scorecard on the Monitor page presents to the supplier some key metrics on how their response is performing against the competition, which include:

  • Overall Rank
  • Total Response Amount
  • Lowest Response Amount
  • Winning Lines
  • Trailing Lines

These metrices are updated upon each refresh empowering the suppliers to quickly adapt their strategies and remain competitive.

Graphical representations are included to provide a comprehensive rank summary for various lines as well as line prices with the current best prices offered in competing responses.

After submitting the negotiation response, suppliers can access the monitor page from:

  • View Response
  • View Negotiation
  • Search Negotiation
  • Search Response
