Execute actions on multiple purchase orders or schedules at once by selecting them on the Redwood Purchase Orders page and submitting a single action.

These actions can be executed on multiple purchase orders:

  • Delete
  • Hold and remove hold
  • Cancel
  • Close and reopen
  • Freeze and unfreeze

These actions can be executed on multiple purchase order schedules:

  • Cancel schedule
  • Close and reopen schedule
  • Firm and undo firm schedule

Steps to Enable

Run the ESS job to create index definition and perform initial ingest to OSCS scheduled process with this index name:

  • Purchase Order Schedules: fa-prc-po-schedules

Tips And Considerations

  • To improve performance, only select orders or schedules with applicable statuses for the action, as the process will fail if the action doesn't apply to the current order or schedule status.
  • Actions on a purchase order or schedule are executed in real-time and don't appear on the Action Status page.

Access Requirements

Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains these privileges can execute actions:

  • Cancel Purchase Order (PO_CANCEL_PURCHASE_ORDER_PRIV) 
  • Close Purchase Order (PO_CLOSE_PURCHASE_ORDER_PRIV)
  • Finally Close Purchase Order (PO_FINALLY_CLOSE_PURCHASE_ORDER_PRIV)
  • Freeze Purchase Order ((PO_FREEZE_PURCHASE_ORDER_PRIV)
  • Hold Purchase Order (PO_HOLD_PURCHASE_ORDER_PRIV)

NOTE: You must have the Manage Scheduled Job Definition (FND_MANAGE_SCHEDULED_JOB_DEFINITION_PRIV) privilege to run scheduled processes for enabling the search extension framework.
