Redwood: View Intrastat Reporting Using a Redwood Page

Intrastat is a system used by European Union (EU) member states to collect statistics on the movement of goods between EU countries. Engaging in cross border trade transactions within the EU requires you to submit regular reports detailing your transactions with other EU countries. Now, you have the ability to view your Intrastat reporting transactions on the Redwood Intrastat transactions page..

You can search for transactions by Country, Legal Reporting Unit, or Legal Entity. You can filter transactions by Transaction Status, Legal Reporting Unit, Transaction, Flow Type, Transaction Date, or additional parameters.

Click Create to create a new transaction. This brings up the New Intrastat Transaction page where you can enter the details for the new Intrastat Transaction.

Click Ignore to ignore transactions. Ignored transactions aren't eligible for Intrastat reporting. This action can only be initiated for the records which are in Open or Error transaction status.

Click Validate Transaction to validate selected transactions. You can either select a few or all records to initiate the validation. This triggers the Mass Validate Intrastat Transactions scheduled process.

Click Reset Transaction Status to update the records in Error transaction status to Open transaction status. This action can only be initiated for the records which are in Error transaction status.

Tips And Considerations

  • The New Intrastat Transactions page in Redwood doesn't support the creation of a new Nature of Transaction Code, Fiscal Regime, or Statistical Code during the creation of a new Intrastat transaction.
  • On the Intrastat Rule page for a Nature of transaction code rule type, click Create Nature of Transaction Code to create a new entry to be used on the Intrastat Transaction page. Similarly, you can use the Fiscal Regime rule type to create a new Fiscal Regime, and the Statistical code rule type to create a new Statistical Code.
