Redwood: Default Bill-to Information from Service Request and Work Order for Service Charges

You can now specify the bill-to customer on the debrief header or part requirements header. If the bill-to customer is provided in Customer Experience (CX), the service work order, or the service request, it defaults into the debrief header or part requirements header.

The Work Order Charges and Part Requirements pages capture the bill-to customer along with the customer. Other associated fields, such as Bill-to Account and Bill-to Address, derive their values based on the bill-to customer.

If the asset to repair is held by a different customer than the customer paying for the service, you can now bill the correct party. For example, leased equipment, owned by a leasing company that pays for all the asset's services, is a different customer (the bill-to customer) than the company (customer) who leases the equipment.
