Redwood: Use and Configure Redwood-Style Supplier Excluded from New Round FYI Notification

Send suppliers FYI notification when excluded from the new round in a Redwood style and format. You can use Oracle Analytics Publisher to configure the notification content to meet your specific business requirements.

Use the Negotiation Participation Update FYI Notification Report to configure the supplier excluded from new round FYI notification, which is now rendered using an Oracle Analytics Publisher template.

When the category manager creates a new negotiation round this notification is sent to all suppliers that participated in the previous round, but are not invited to the new round.

Steps to Enable

Use the Opt In UI to enable this feature. For instructions, refer to the Optional Uptake of New Features section of this document.

Offering: Procurement

After you enable the feature, follow these steps to configure the template for suppliers excluded from the new round FYI notifications:

1. Sign in to the Analytics Publisher server directly (for example: http://hostname.com:7001/xmlpserver) and click on the catalog tab.
2. In the Folders pane, locate the Negotiation Participation Update FYI Notification Report template under this path: Shared Folders > Procurement > Sourcing. Click More and then click Customize. This creates a copy of the template in the Shared Folders > Custom > Procurement > Sourcing folder.
3. Access this template in the Custom folder. 
4. Edit the template with your required changes. 
5. Upload the template (select the appropriate locale for your instance). 
6. For this template, the data model is Negotiation Participation Update Notification Data Model.

Tips And Considerations

The individual attributes without data are hidden in the notification.

To control whether to send this notification to excluded suppliers or not use the Manage Sourcing Notifications task in setup and maintenance to enable or disable this notification.

Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains this existing privilege can access the feature:

• View Supplier Negotiation (PON_VIEW_SUPPLIER_NEGOTIATION_PRIV)
• View Supplier Negotiation as Supplier (PON_VIEW_SUPPLIER_NEGOTIATION_SUPPLIER_FACING_PRIV)

Administrators who are assigned a configured job role that contains this existing duty role can configure the notifications with Oracle Analytics Publisher:

• BI Author Role (BIAuthor)

These privileges and this duty role were available prior to this update.
