Redwood: Use and Configure Redwood-Style Negotiation Lifecycle Change FYI Notifications

Send FYI Notifications to suppliers when negotiations are paused, extended, closed early, amended, or canceled in a Redwood style and format. You can use Oracle Analytics Publisher to configure the notification content to meet your specific business requirements.

Use the Negotiation Lifecycle Changes FYI Notification Report to configure these FYI notifications which are rendered using Oracle Analytics Publisher templates.

When the buyer pauses, extends, closes early, amends, or cancels the negotiation an FYI notification is sent to all invited suppliers.

Steps to Enable

Use the Opt In UI to enable this feature. For instructions, refer to the Optional Uptake of New Features section of this document.

Offering: Procurement

After you enable the feature, follow these steps to configure the template for suppliers who are paused, extended, closed early, amended, or canceled, FYI notifications:

1. Sign in to the Analytics Publisher server directly (for example: http://hostname.com:7001/xmlpserver) and click on the catalog tab.
2. In the Folders pane, locate the Negotiation Lifecycle Changes FYI Notification Report template under this path: Shared Folders > Procurement > Sourcing. Click More and then click Customize. This creates a copy of the template in the Shared Folders > Custom > Procurement > Sourcing folder.
3. Access this template in the Custom folder. 
4. Edit the template with your required changes. 
5. Upload the template (select the appropriate locale for your instance). 
6. For this template, the data model is Negotiation Lifecycle Changes Notification Data Model.

Tips And Considerations

The individual attributes without data are hidden in the notification.

Access Requirements

Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains this existing privilege can access the feature:

• View Supplier Negotiation (PON_VIEW_SUPPLIER_NEGOTIATION_PRIV)
• View Supplier Negotiation as Supplier (PON_VIEW_SUPPLIER_NEGOTIATION_SUPPLIER_FACING_PRIV)

Administrators who are assigned a configured job role that contains this existing duty role can configure the notifications with Oracle Analytics Publisher:

• BI Author Role (BIAuthor)

These privileges and this duty role were available prior to this update.
