Redwood: Respond to Internal Questionnaires

You can now enable a new questionnaire experience for internal stakeholders to provide feedback on suppliers. The new streamlined response flow enables stakeholders to easily search questionnaires and submit responses. The redesigned redwood pages not only improve usability but also provide an intuitive questionnaire process for internal responders.

Internal responders can quickly view questionnaires requiring attention or search for specific questionnaires by title or number and further filter the results by status and due dates. In addition to responding to the questionnaire and viewing submitted questionnaires, they can download the questionnaire as a PDF and reset their response.

Questionnaires Requiring Attention

While responding to the questionnaire, you can see all questionnaire sections and the sections' response status. You can quickly identify the sections you've completed and easily navigate to any section.

You can attach supporting documentations on your question response. The number of uploaded attachments for a response is displayed so you can easily identify any missing attachments yet to be added. On submission, the questionnaire is validated to ensure responses are provided to all required questions and required attachments.

Steps to Enable

To enable the new Redwood internal questionnaire flow, you must enable the Redwood Internal Questionnaires Pages Enabled (ORA_POQ_INTERNAL_QUESTIONNAIRES_REDWOOD_ENABLED) profile option. By default, this profile option is disabled.

To enable the profile option, follow these steps:

1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, search and select the Manage Administrator Profile Values task.
2. On the Manage Administrator Profile Values page, search for and select the profile option name or code.
3. Set the Profile Value to Y.
4. Click Save and Close. Changes in the profile value will affect users the next time they sign in.

Tips And Considerations

• When the profile option is enabled, both the classic Manage Questionnaires task and the new redwood Questionnaires (New) task will be available and all past and in progress questionnaires are seamlessly accessible in the new experience. 
• You can add a guided journey to provide additional information for internal responders responding to the questionnaire.
• You can use Visual Builder Studio in Express Mode to hide or show fields in these regions using business rules:
  • Questionnaires - search result
  • Respond to Questionnaire - questionnaire header: Internal Responder, Requested By, Supplier Site Address
  • View Questionnaire - questionnaire header: Internal Responder, Requested By, Submission Date, Supplier Site Address

Access Requirements

Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains these privileges can search, view, and respond to the internal questionnaires:

• Search Supplier Qualification Questionnaire Response as Internal (POQ_SEARCH_SUPP_QUAL_QUESTIONNAIRE_RESPONSE_AS_INTERNAL_PRIV)

• View Supplier Qualification Questionnaire Response as Internal (POQ_VIEW_SUPP_QUAL_QUESTIONNAIRE_RESPONSE_AS_INTERNAL_PRIV)

• Create Supplier Qualification Questionnaire Response as Internal (POQ_CREATE_SUPP_QUAL_QUESTIONNAIRE_RESPONSE_AS_INTERNAL_PRIV)
