Redwood: Use and Configure Redwood-Style Negotiation Response Submitted FYI Notifications to the Buyer

Send the negotiation response submitted FYI notification to the buyer in a Redwood style and format. You can use Oracle Analytics Publisher to configure the notification content to meet your specific business requirements.

Use the Negotiation Response Submitted FYI Notification to the Buyer Report to configure the negotiation response submitted FYI notifications to the buyer.

The notification is sent to the buyer when a negotiation response is submitted by the supplier and negotiation type is not an auction.

Steps to Enable

Use the Opt In UI to enable this feature. For instructions, refer to the Optional Uptake of New Features section of this document.

Offering: Procurement

After you enable the feature, follow these steps to configure the template for negotiation response submitted FYI notifications to the buyer:

1. Sign in to the Analytics Publisher server directly (for example: http://hostname.com:7001/xmlpserver) and click on the catalog tab.
2. In the Folders pane, locate the Collaboration Task FYI Notification Report template under this path: Shared Folders > Procurement > Sourcing. Click More and then click Customize. This creates a copy of the template in the Shared Folders > Custom > Procurement > Sourcing folder.
3. Access this template in the Custom folder. 
4. Edit the template with your required changes. 
5. Upload the template (select the appropriate locale for your instance). 
6. For this template, the data model is Negotiation Response Submitted Notification to Buyer Data Model.

Tips And Considerations

Individual attributes without data are hidden in the notification.

Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains this existing privilege can access the feature:

• View Supplier Negotiation (PON_VIEW_SUPPLIER_NEGOTIATION_PRIV)

Administrators who are assigned a configured job role that contains this existing duty role can configure the notifications with Oracle Analytics Publisher:

• BI Author Role (BIAuthor)

This privilege and duty role were available prior to this update.
