Redwood: Use and Configure Redwood-Style Negotiation Open FYI Notification

Send the negotiation open for responding or available for preview FYI notification to the buyer in a Redwood style and format. You can use Oracle Analytics Publisher to configure the notification content to meet your specific business requirements.

Use the Negotiation Published FYI Notification Report to configure the negotiation open for responding or available for preview FYI notification.

Buyer submits the negotiation for publication, then receives the notification after the negotiation is opened for preview or for responding.

Steps to Enable

Use the Opt In UI to enable this feature. For instructions, refer to the Optional Uptake of New Features section of this document.

Offering: Procurement

After you enable the feature, follow these steps to configure the template for the negotiation open for responding or available for preview FYI notification:

1. Sign in to the Analytics Publisher server directly (for example: http://hostname.com:7001/xmlpserver) and click on the catalog tab.
2. In the Folders pane, locate the Negotiation Published FYI Notification Report template under this path: Shared Folders > Procurement > Sourcing. Click More and then click Customize. This creates a copy of the template in the Shared Folders > Custom > Procurement > Sourcing folder.
3. Access this template in the Custom folder.
4. Edit the template with your required changes. 
5. Upload the template (select the appropriate locale for your instance).
6. For this template, the data model is Negotiation Published Notification Data Model.

Tips And Considerations

Individual attributes without data are hidden in the notification.

Access Requirements

Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains this existing privilege can access the feature:

• View Supplier Negotiation (PON_VIEW_SUPPLIER_NEGOTIATION_PRIV)

Administrators who are assigned a configured job role that contains this existing duty role can configure the notifications with Oracle Analytics Publisher:

• BI Author Role (BIAuthor)

This privilege and duty role were available prior to this update.
