Redwood: Use and Configure Redwood-Style Negotiation Approval Outcome FYI Notifications

Send the negotiation approval outcome FYI notifications to the buyer in a Redwood style and format. You can use Oracle Analytics Publisher to configure the notification content to meet your specific business requirements.

• Use the Negotiation Approval Status FYI Notification Report to configure the negotiation approval FYI notification. 
• Use the Award Approval Status FYI Notification Report to configure the award approval FYI notification.

When negotiation approvals are enabled, the negotiation document requires approval before being automatically published by the application. After the negotiation is approved, buyer receives the negotiation approval FYI notification. If award approvals are enabled, then the negotiation award will need approvals before the award can be completed. After the award is approved, buyer receives the award approval FYI notification.

Steps to Enable

Use the Opt In UI to enable this feature. For instructions, refer to the Optional Uptake of New Features section of this document.

Offering: Procurement

After you enable the feature, follow these steps to configure the template for negotiation outcome FYI notifications to the buyer:

1. Sign in to the Analytics Publisher server directly (for example: http://hostname.com:7001/xmlpserver) and click on the catalog tab.
2. In the Folders pane, locate the Negotiation Approval Status FYI Notification Report or Award Approval Status FYI Notification Report template under this path: Shared Folders > Procurement > Sourcing. Click More and then click Customize. This creates a copy of the template in the Shared Folders > Custom > Procurement > Sourcing folder.
3. Access this template in the Custom folder. 
4. Edit the template with your required changes. 
5. Upload the template (select the appropriate locale for your instance). 
6. For these templates, the data models are Negotiation Approval Notification Data Model and Award Approval Notification Data Model.  

Tips And Considerations

Individual attributes without data are hidden in the notification.

Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains this existing privilege can access the feature:

• View Supplier Negotiation (PON_VIEW_SUPPLIER_NEGOTIATION_PRIV)

Administrators who are assigned a configured job role that contains this existing duty role can configure the notifications with Oracle Analytics Publisher:

• BI Author Role (BIAuthor)
