Redwood: Use and Configure Redwood-Style Questionnaire Canceled, Closed, and Response Submitted FYI Notifications

Send questionnaire canceled, closed, and response submitted FYI notifications in a Redwood style and format. You can use Oracle Analytics Publisher to configure the notification content to meet your specific business requirements.

• Use the Questionnaire Canceled Or Closed Notification Report to configure the questionnaire canceled and closed FYI notifications.
• Use the Submitted Questionnaire Response Notification Report to configure the questionnaire response submitted FYI notification.

These notifications are rendered from the Oracle Analytics Publisher template.

The Questionnaire Canceled or Closed FYI Notification is sent to the supplier contact or the internal responder to inform them that the questionnaire sent to them was canceled or closed.

The Questionnaire Response Submitted FYI Notification is sent to the initiative owner to inform them that a questionnaire response was submitted.

Steps to Enable

Use the Opt In UI to enable this feature. For instructions, refer to the Optional Uptake of New Features section of this document.

Offering: Procurement

After you enable the feature, follow these steps to configure the templates for the questionnaire canceled, closed, and response submitted FYI notifications:

1. Sign in to the Analytics Publisher server directly (for example: http://hostname.com:7001/xmlpserver) and click on the catalog tab.
2. In the Folders pane, locate the Questionnaire Canceled Or Closed Notification Report or Submitted Questionnaire Response Notification Report template under this path: Shared Folders > Procurement > Supplier Qualification. Click More and then click Customize. This creates a copy of the template in the Shared Folders > Custom > Procurement > Supplier Qualification folder.
3. Access this template in the Custom folder.
4. Edit the template with your required changes. 
5. Upload the template (select the appropriate locale for your instance). 
6. For these templates, the data models are Questionnaire Canceled Or Closed Notification Data Model and Submitted Questionnaire Response Notification Data Model.  

Tips And Considerations

To configure content specific to the questionnaire canceled FYI notification, you can write a condition using the Response Status attribute and set it equal to Canceled.  Similarly, set the Response Status attribute equal to Closed in order to configure content specific to the questionnaire closed FYI notification.

Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains these existing privileges can access the feature:

• View Supplier Qualification Initiative (POQ_VIEW_SUPPLIER_QUALIFICATION_INITIATIVE_PRIV)

Administrators who are assigned a configured job role that contains this duty role can configure the notifications with Oracle Analytics Publisher:

• BI Author Role (BIAuthor)
