Redwood: Specify Tax-Determinant Values on Purchase Orders as a Buyer

Override the default values for tax-determinant attributes when editing purchase orders as a buyer using the Redwood experience. For example, you can override the taxation country at the header level or the tax classification code at the schedule level.

Using this feature, you can manually select tax-determinant attribute values at both the header and schedule levels, and also default them based on tax setup. This ensures that tax computation is automatic and accurate.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

  • Tax-determinant attributes at the header level will be hidden by default. To display them on the page, you need to enable them through the business rules settings using Oracle Visual Builder Studio.
  • Tax-determinant attributes at the schedule level will be hidden by default. To display them in the schedules table, you must select them from the column management.
  • You can set conditions to display tax-related attributes. For instance, you can choose to show the final discharge location only for specific requisitioning business units.
