Redwood: Use Redwood-Style FYI Notifications for Supply Chain Planning
Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Planning generates FYI notifications when certain conditions occur, such action items assignment during the Sales and Operations planning cycle or exceptions that meet threshold criteria. These notifications now have a different look and feel, redesigned using Redwood style templates.
Redwood-Style Planning Exception Notifications
Plan exception notifications are sent when measure-based exception details.
To generate these notifications, follow these steps:
- Enable notifications in Configure Exceptions setup for a user or role, You may apply filters if needed.
- Opt in to Redwood by enabling the setting Use Redwood-Style FYI Notifications for Supply Chain Planning.
- Include the measure-based exceptions with notifications configured in the plan's exception set.
- Run the plan using the full refresh option. If exceptions are found, the alert (bell) icon displays the number of Redwood-style notifications.
- Click the alert icon to view detailed information about the details.
You can generate exception notifications for Supply, Demand, Sales and Operations, and Replenishment plans. To update exception details and notifications for a refreshed plan, run the Calculate Measure-based Exceptions scheduled process.
