Redwood: Publish Data for Demand Collaboration Using a New User Experience

The Demand Collaboration work area provides your customers the ability to collaborate on their forecast with you.  With this update, you can now use the Redwood user experience to publish a forecast generated by you in Oracle Demand Management to Oracle Supply Chain Collaboration as a response to your customers’ demand.

Select Publish for Demand Collaboration from a demand plan's action menu to publish data for customer review.

A panel will appear, enabling you to specify the relevant attributes including Plan Measure, Collaboration Document and Document Measure.

Steps to Enable

Use the Opt In UI to enable this feature. For instructions, refer to the Optional Uptake of New Features section of this document.

If you want to use the Redwood: Publish Data for Demand Collaboration Using a New User Experience feature, then you must opt in to its parent feature: Customer Demand Collaboration. If you’ve already opted in to this parent feature, then you don’t have to opt in again.

Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains this privilege can access this feature:

• Manage Demand Collaboration (VCS_MANAGE_DEMAND_COLLABORATION_PRIV)
