Redwood: Identify Objects More Easily in Product Management Work Area

You can use the visual indicators on the Product Management pages to easily identity the tasks and objects.

You can access Saved Searches, Clipboard, and Recently Visited sections using the icons available at the top left of the Product Management landing page, as shown in the following screenshot. When you click an icon, the panel opens from the left.

You can maximize, minimize, or close the Saved Searches, Clipboard, or Recently Visited sections using the icons highlighted in the following screenshot.

Object Icons for Object Pages

Object icons are shown beside the page title and on the tabs at the bottom (before the object name or number) that helps to identify the object type as highlighted in the following screenshot. Icons are available for the following object types:

  • Item Object Icon: Icon for the Item object
  • Worflow Object Icon: Icon for the Workflow object
  • Manufacturer Object Icon: Icon for the Manufacturer object

Item Changes in Change Order Context

You can see a clear indication when an item change is made within a change order context as shown in the following screenshot.

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Access Requirements

Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains these privileges can access this feature:

  • For items:
    • View Item Redwood (ORA_EGP_REDWOOD_VIEW_ITEM_DUTY)
  • For landing page:
    • Access Product Management Landing Page (EGP_ACCESS_LANDING_PAGE_PRIV)
    • Access Clipboard (ACA_ACCESS_CLIPBOARD_PRIV)
    • Access HCM Common Components  (HRC_ACCESS_HCM_COMMON_COMPONENTS_PRIV)
  • For manufacturers:
    • View Manufacturer (EGP_VIEW_MANUFACTURER_PRIV)
  • For change orders:
    • View Change Order (ACA_VIEW_CHANGE_ORDERS_PRIV) or
    • Manage Change Orders (ACA_MANAGE_CHANGE_ORDERS_PRIV)

These privileges were available prior to this update.
