Redwood: Duplicate Items
You can create a new item based on an existing item in Product Management. A new page-level action called Save As allows you to create a duplicate of an existing item, as shown in the following screenshot.
Save As Option in Page Level Actions
Clicking Save As opens the drawer, as shown in the following screenshot. In this drawer, you can selectively include the entities you want to copy to the new item. These entities are categorized under tabs such as Attributes, Structures, and Others. You can apply more than one template to the new item and also determine the order in which the attribute values are copied.
You can select the attributes you want to copy to the new item from the Attributes tab.
Copy Attributes to New Item
You can select the structures you want to copy to the new item from the Structures tab. Also, you can selectively decide whether to include substitute items and reference designators for the structure. You can select the Creation Option as Copy or Common.
Copy from Structure Tab
The Others tab includes various other child entities of the item such as:
- Organizations
- Categories

- Item revision attachments
