Redwood: Manage Item Supplier Associations

In Product Management, you can view and manage the supplier associations for an item using the new Supplier Organizations section available on the Associations tab of an item as shown in the following screenshot.

To add a supplier association, click Add to open the Supplier Addresses drawer as shown in the following screenshot. Search for and select the supplier name, and then click Add. The selected supplier addresses are displayed in the Supplier Organizations section.

This feature increases productivity by allowing you to manage different supplier organizations assigned to the item.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

You can't route changes to the supplier organization associations through a change order or approval workflow.

Access Requirements

Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains these duty roles and privileges can access this feature:

  • View Item Redwood Items (EGP_VIEW_REDWOOD_ITEM_PRIV)
  • Manage Item Supplier Associations (EGP_MANAGE_REDWOOD_ITEM_SUPPLIER_ASSOCIATION_PRIV)

The first privilege is new in this update and the second privilege was available prior to this update.
