Redwood: Review Purchase Agreement Processing Errors and Other Exceptions

Review any processing errors and exceptions for purchase agreements and change orders using a Redwood page.

The newly introduced “Processing Errors” metric shows the number of purchase agreements with submission errors, including errors from both purchase agreements and change orders. You can click this metric to view the list of agreements that have processing errors. 

If an agreement has processing errors or exceptions, a warning icon will be displayed next to the agreement number. 

By clicking the warning icon, you can access a drawer that lists processing errors.

By clicking the warning icon, you can open a drawer and see the exceptions such as rejected, overdue for acknowledgment, frozen or on-hold status, expired lines, pending changes initiated by the supplier, or configured alerts like expiring, overutilized, and underutilized. Clicking the warning icon opens a drawer that provides additional details about these exceptions.

Steps to Enable

If you have enabled the Redwood Manage Agreements Enabled (ORA_PO_MANAGE_AGREEMENTS_REDWOOD_ENABLED) profile option, you don't need anything else to use this feature.

Run the ESS job to create index definition and perform initial ingest to OSCS scheduled process, once each for these index names:

• Purchase Agreements: fa-prc-pa
• Purchase Agreement Lines: fa-prc-pa-line

Tips And Considerations

• When an agreement contains both processing errors and exceptions, the relevant details are shown in separate tabs within the same drawer.
• When an agreement has processing errors or exceptions, an alert icon appears next to the agreement number, regardless of the metric selected.

Access Requirements

Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains these privileges can access this feature:

• Search Purchase Agreement (PO_SEARCH_PURCHASE_AGREEMENT_PRIV)
• View Purchase Agreement Work Area (PO_VIEW_PURCHASE_AGREEMENT_WORKAREA_PRIV)

These privileges were available prior to this update.
