Redwood: Execute Actions on Multiple Purchase Agreements

Execute actions on multiple purchase agreements simultaneously by selecting them on the Redwood Purchase Agreements page and submitting a single action.

You can execute these actions on multiple purchase agreements:

• Delete
• Hold and remove hold
• Cancel
• Finally Close
• Freeze and unfreeze

Steps to Enable

If you have enabled the Redwood Manage Agreements Enabled (ORA_PO_MANAGE_AGREEMENTS_REDWOOD_ENABLED) profile option, you don't need anything else to use this feature.

Run the ESS job to create index definition and perform initial ingest to OSCS scheduled process, once each for these index names:

• Purchase Agreements: fa-prc-pa
• Purchase Agreement Lines: fa-prc-pa-line

Tips And Considerations

• To improve performance, only select agreements with applicable statuses for the action, as the process will fail if the action doesn't apply to the current agreement status.
• Actions on a purchase agreement are executed in real-time and won't appear on the Action Status page.

• Create Purchase Agreement (PO_CREATE_PURCHASE_AGREEMENT_PRIV)

Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains this existing privilege can cancel a purchase agreement:

• Cancel Purchase Agreement (PO_CANCEL_PURCHASE_AGREEMENT_PRIV)

Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains this existing privilege can finally close a purchase agreement:

• Finally Close Purchase Agreement (PO_FINALLY_CLOSE_PURCHASE_AGREEMENT_PRIV)

Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains this existing privilege can communicate a purchase agreement to a supplier:

• Communicate Purchase Order and Purchase Agreement (PO_COMMUNICATE_PURCHASING_DOC_PRIV)

Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains this existing privilege can freeze a purchase agreement:

• Freeze Purchase Agreement (PO_FREEZE_PURCHASE_AGREEMENT_PRIV)

Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains this existing privilege can put a purchase agreement on hold or remove the hold:

• Hold Purchase Agreement (PO_HOLD_PURCHASE_AGREEMENT_PRIV)

NOTE: You must have the Manage Scheduled Job Definition (FND_MANAGE_SCHEDULED_JOB_DEFINITION_PRIV) privilege to run scheduled processes for enabling the search extension framework.
