Selected Cost Management Bug Fixes in This Update

This update includes some bug fixes that can change the way Oracle Cost Management works. This isn't a full list of all the bug fixes in this update. This list includes the bug fixes that can cause a noticeable change in application behavior.

Exclude Overhead Absorption for Lot Grade Change Transactions

Before update 26A, Lot Grade Change transactions weren't recognized in the standard cost overhead absorption rules. As a result, the overhead was absorbed twice in certain scenarios, and you often had to create manual journal entries to correct the excess overhead. After you update to 26A, you can configure Lot Grade Change transactions directly from the Standard Cost Overhead Absorption Rules page. The application automatically manages overhead absorption for these transactions, preventing duplicate overhead and eliminating the need for manual corrections.
