Redwood: Manage Material Availability Rules
Define and manage material availability rules in the new Redwood user experience. Use the new action for Material Availability under Quick Actions to navigate from the Maintenance Management and Maintenance Execution Landing pages. These rules help the application create initial allocation of materials for the work orders based on the rules.
Here is a screenshot showing the Quick Action link in the Maintenance Management Landing Page.

New Quick Action for Material Availability
Use the in-app navigation to select the Configuration tab, and you can configure rules to prioritize work orders for material assignment by sorting them according to material assignment priority, focusing on critical items and the work order start date at the organization level. You can also filter to include work orders that fall within a specific time fence and that have particular statuses, types, and subtypes. Additionally, the rules can specify inclusion of work orders that require certain materials, or materials with attributes such as make versus buy and supply type. You also have the flexibility to exclude work orders from material de-prioritization based on specific attributes of the item or the work order itself.
You can now set up, manage, and adjust these rule criteria, supporting more effective material allocation, forced assignment criteria and work order prioritization for maintenance organizations.
