When you put away goods into storage locations, you may face a situation where the specific receipt number for goods in hand is not known or forgotten. To address this, you can now use additional search parameters, such as item number or supplier directly from your mobile device to search for and identify correct receipts during put away.

This feature allows operators to easily locate receipts awaiting put away directly from their mobile devices, streamlining the process and improving operational efficiency.

Steps to enable and configure

Leverage the Visual Builder Studio to expose your applications. To learn more about extending your application using Visual Builder, visit Oracle Help Center > your apps service area of interest > Books > Configuration and Extension.

Use these business rules in Visual Builder Studio's Express mode to enable the listed enhancements for mobile put away goods.

  1. In the Select Order Layout section, set Put Away by Advanced Search to Visible to enable Advanced Search.
  2. To make the Receipt Number field optional in the Put Away by Item flow, set the Receipt Number field as Optional.
