Redwood: Use Additional Capabilities in Negotiations
Additional capabilities are now available in Oracle Sourcing Redwood UIs:
- Requirements spreadsheet support – export and import requirements through spreadsheets for draft negotiations enabling users to efficiently manage requirements in bulk, including: mass edits, create new requirements or overwriting existing ones.
- View requirement details – Buyers can instantly view detailed requirement information for a negotiation. Hyperlink to access requirements is added on the requirement score and analyze responses pages.
- Apply response revision settings – Response revision settings are displayed when the ranking method is price only and the response rule, allow response revision is selected.
You can now set and view minimum decrement value for each line in an auction. This ensures bids are lowered by at least by specified amount or percentage for each line when suppliers revise responses. This enhancement supports more precise bidding strategies, enforces compliance, and increases transparency for both buyers and suppliers.
- Manage Request For Information (RFI) – Complete lifecycle support for RFI negotiation type.
- Awarding a prospective supplier – When you award a prospective supplier, a spend authorization request is initiated automatically during award finalization. After all the awarded prospective suppliers are promoted to spend authorized, the award is automatically marked as completed and outcome documents can be created. Automatically initiating spend authorization to autocomplete the award removes manual handoffs and reduces cycle time.
- Post or Withdraw Award Notice – Post or withdraw award notice from award or analyze negotiation pages. These actions were already supported from the negotiation details page.
The users can now export the template to prepare requirements for import.

The Minimum Decrement (USD) or Minimum Decrement (%) column is shown in the Lines table when response revision settings are enabled. As an improvement over the classic UI, all the one time setup changes are moved to the Controls tab. Response revision settings are moved to the Controls page, General tab.
