Steps to enable and configure
You must run the Revoke Share Data Access process for the data access to be revoked. You can schedule it to run on a regular basis, or run it ad-hoc.
- If you use custom job roles, first assign the new privilege Run Revoke Share Data Access Process (PER_RUN_REVOKE_SHARE_DATA_ACCESS_PROCESS_PRIV) to your appropriate job role
- Navigate to Scheduled Processes
- Click the Schedule New Process button
- Search for and select the process Revoke Share Data Access
- Choose a Run Type
- If you choose Expiration date, the process revokes all records with the expiration date before the system date.
- If you choose Days after creation date, the expiration date is ignored. The process calculates an expiration based on number of days after creation date.
- If Run Type is Days after creation date, specify the Number of Days
- Optionally select a Recipient
- The recipient parameter will revoke only records which were shared with the specified recipien
- Submit the process

Tips and considerations
Enhanced Rate Plan
Points to consider
-
You can enter charges in basic mode
-
You can calculate charges based on formula, price list or another rate plan in advanced mode
-
You can create rate card (base price matrix charges) in advanced mode
-
You can create entitlements only after you create charges in a rate plan
-
You can’t delete charges that have entitlements
-
You can’t edit active rate plans
-
You can use the Historical Prices filter chip to view deprecated rate plans
Points to note
-
When you deprecate a rate plan, the system assigns it an end date
-
With approvals enabled, you need to activate all the rate plans and then submit the price list for approval
-
When you create rate plans, the system sets the default priority in multiples of 10
-
If you don’t maintain priority at the rate plan level, then the system uses the existing logic of the creation date for default pricing
