Source Syntax Highlighting Support
This feature brings syntax highlighting and other smaller updates that improve readability and usability of the source code (HTML) for the Article authors.
- Syntax Highlighting: Color code to reflect syntactic structure. (Color coded and indented)
- Active Line Highlighting: The line where the cursor is highlighted
- Line Numbers: Display gutters with line numbers
- Code Folding: An arrow on the left pane collapses the code inside that particular tag (Ctrl/Cmd+Q is the keyboard shortcut for the same)
- Search/Replace: Editor specific search/regexp search, and replace functionality (Ctrl/Cmd+F for search; Ctrl/Cmd+G to navigate to next search result; Shift+Ctrl/Cmd+G to go to previous search result; Alt/Option + Ctrl/Cmd + F for search and replace)
- Bracket Closing: Automatically insert closing brackets for a tag while typing
- Auto Closing tags: Closing tags automatically inserted when creating the opening tag
- Trailing Spaces: Spaces in the source mode are highlighted with red underlining

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
Tips And Considerations
- The Knowledge Advanced Authoring workspace must be using the new rich text editor which is available from 24C to use this feature.
- This feature requires an upgrade to 25A.
