Event Delivery Service: Error log for Events

This feature provides the error log for the delivery of events in Event Delivery Service. This feature also provides information about the health of the Event Delivery Service.

  1. A new tab within each destination to provide the error log of events.
  2. The error log contains the below details about an error.
    • Cloud Event ID: The unique Id of the event.
    • HTTP error code: The HTTP code of the error. Available only when the destination is Oracle Integration Cloud.
    • Error Description: The description provided by the destination during the delivery.
    • Start time: The time at which the delivery of the event failed.
    • Rectified time: The time at which the event was successfully delivered in retry.
    • Status: The status of the event delivery. The two statuses are Resolved and Unresolved.
  3. The error log also provides information about health of the service.

Business Value:

  • Debugging: Admins can easily identify the cause of failure of delivery of events to the destination and act upon it.
  • Retrievability: Admins can access the most recent 200 error messages or error message from the past 7 days.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

This feature will be a part of the March I release and will be available on non production sites on 2/20/2025 and on production sites on 3/06/2025.
