Enhanced Maintenance Cloud Accelerator for Oracle Fusion Field Service

Oracle Fusion Field Service 25D now allows for the creation and management of mobile workers, following the Fusion Standards described here. In the latest release of the Oracle Field Service — Oracle Maintenance | Manage Assets and Mobility accelerator, a new integration called Oracle Maintenance FFS Resource has been introduced to support Oracle Fusion Field Service. This integration enables the following metadata data flows:

  • Maintenance organizations defined in Oracle Maintenance are represented as buckets in Oracle Fusion Field Service
  • Maintenance resources are established as work skills and linked to the appropriate mobile workers
  • Maintenance work centers are represented as work zones and associated with the respective mobile workers
  • Maintenance equipment resource instances are configured as tool resources
  • Required resource instance details for scheduling and debriefing are now retrieved from Fusion Maintenance Cloud using the mobile worker’s partyID, instead of custom properties

All other integrations described in this section function the same way for both Oracle Fusion Field Service and Oracle Field Service users, with no changes required.

This accelerator enables Oracle Fusion Field Service users to seamlessly connect with Oracle Maintenance Cloud, allowing them to quickly update a mobile worker’s work skill, work center, and organization bucket.
