Past Activities Expanded Actions
As of the previous release, users could manage past activities only when the activity was in Started status. Starting with 26D, users can also perform additional actions on eligible past activities in other statuses. These actions include moving pending activities, updating En Route activities, and reopening closed activities.
Past activity actions are available only during the configured past-update window. The following Business Rules control this window:
- Allow update activities and offline sync after overnight within the following number of hours
- Overnight work
If an activity falls outside the configured window, the application does not show move, update, and reopen actions, and the REST API rejects these actions.
The following actions are supported for eligible past activities from both the application and REST API:

Move Pending Activities from Past Days
Eligible pending activities from previous days can be moved using any of the following:
- Activity Details
- Activity hint
- Dispatch Console List View group move
- Dispatch Console Map right panel
- Drag-and-drop in the Dispatch Console Map View, List View, and Time View
Past activities can be moved to:
- The current day
- A future day
- A non-scheduled pool
Update En Route Activities from Past Days
If an activity from a past day is in En Route status and is still within the configured past-update window, users can perform the following actions:
- Stop travel
- Start activity
These actions follow the same past-update window restrictions as move actions.
Reopen Past Activities
Activities in the following statuses can be reopened when they remain within the configured past-update window:
- Cancelled
- Completed
- Not Done
When a past activity is reopened, the application assigns it to the non-scheduled pool.
Segmentable Activities in the Past
Scheduled segmentable activities that remain in the past are automatically cancelled so they are no longer actionable.
Business Benefit
- Improve productivity by enabling eligible past activities to be moved, resumed, or reopened instead of remaining in historical statuses.
- Increase operational reliability by reducing the risk of pending activities becoming “lost” after overnight processing and allowing work to be recovered when needed.
- Simplify integrations by eliminating the need for custom end-of-day activity migration configurations while providing the same capabilities through the REST API.
