Operating Hours Insight in the Business Customer Engagement Data Browser

Business customers with sub-daily smart meter (AMI) data can view an additional operating hours insight in the Day view of the Energy Use View tab. The insight shows the total daily energy usage, operating hour usage, and non-operating hour usage. The operating hour and non-operating hour details are based on what is entered by the business customer in the Business Profile widget.

This information helps business customers identify important energy use trends related to when they are open and closed for business.

Steps to Enable

To enable and configure this feature, complete these steps:

  1. Ensure the operating hour question is configured in the Business Profile.
  2. Turn on Operating Hour Insights in the Data Browser.
  3. Contact your Service Delivery Manager to coordinate additional configuration of the module:
    • Log in to Inside Opower (https://inside.opower.com). This is your portal for questions and information related to your program.
    • Go to the Community tab and contact the Service Delivery Manager using the information provided.
