Dual Fuel and Gas-only Customer Experience Variations in Portfolio View
The Portfolio View lets business customers view aggregated information about all of their premises in a single list. Portfolio View supports the following user experience variations:
- Business customer that only receives electricity from their utility.
- Business customer that only receives natural gas from their utility.
- Business customer that receives both electricity and natural gas from their utility.
If the customer receives both electricity and natural gas, the user experience varies in the following ways:
- A fuel toggle appears at the top of the page to allow customers to switch between their electricity and gas portfolios.
- An additional Service column appears in the dashboard and displays icons to indicate whether a specific premise receives gas, electricity, or both.
- The downloaded data file contains data about each of the business customer’s fuel types.
Dual Fuel and Gas-Only Customer Experiences in Portfolio View
Adding support for dual fuel and gas-only business customers ensures that utilities can provide all of their customers with the ability to view and download all of their data so that they can manage their energy use and costs.
Steps to Enable
Contact your Service Delivery Manager to coordinate configuration of the module. To contact your Service Delivery Manager:
- Log in to Inside Opower (https://inside.opower.com). This is your portal for questions and information related to your program.
- Go to the Community tab and contact the Service Delivery Manager using the information provided.
