Get Started with Quotes

Salespeople can create quotes and orders from opportunities as part of deals or directly from accounts using the automated opportunity-to-quote-to-order process.

The quotes and orders feature lets salespeople:

• Create professional proposal documents.
• Share quotes and collaborate with customers to close deals.
• View quote summary information and drill down into quotes to view details.
• Create product configurations in the integrated quoting application.
• Perform automated pricing calculations.
• Specify pricing and discounts.
• Streamline approval processes.

Quotes Work Area

The Quotes work area lets you see the open opportunity quotes created in the last 30 days. You can connect to Oracle Configure, Price, and Quote (Oracle CPQ) and see the quote details right from the work area.

From the Quotes work area, you can:

• Create quotes.
• Search and view quotes that you can access.
• See the quotes list, summarized details, and all details.
• See quotes by opportunity.
• Send quotes to booking using the direct quote-to-order feature.
• Monitor the fulfillment of quotes you've booked using the direct quote-to-order feature.
