How do I display the country in the address field?

By default, if the name of the country selected in the user profile and the name of the country in the address are the same, the country is not displayed on the address field of an account or contact.

For example, US is set as the country in your user profile and the billing address is also US, then the billing address is displayed without the country name US.

To see the country selected in the user profile go to User Profile and click Set preferences > General Preferences > Regional > Territory

You can change this behavior in the account and contact addresses using the Regional Country in Address Formats Included profile option.

Perform the following steps to change the profile option value:
  1. Click Navigator > My Enterprise > Setup and Maintenance work area.
  2. Click the Tasks menu and click Search. Search for Manage Administrator Profile Values task and open it.
  3. Search for Regional Country in Address Formats Included profile option using the profile option code ORA_HZ_INCLUDE_REGIONAL_COUNTRY.

    If the profile value of the ORA_HZ_INCLUDE_REGIONAL_COUNTRY profile option is set to yes and the country name set in the user profile is the same as the country in the address, then the country name is displayed.

    If the profile value of the ORA_HZ_INCLUDE_REGIONAL_COUNTRY profile option is set to no and the country name set in the user profile is the same as the country in the address, the country name isn't displayed.

  4. Click Save and Close.
