Create a Depot Repair Return Material Authorization (RMA)

You can create a depot repair RMA from the Service Requests Parts tab, the Create Part Requirements page, and from Order Management.

Note: You can create depot repair RMAs (sales order returns) with quantities more than one for serial-tracked items and asset-tracked items. The serial numbers received for the RMA can be selected in the Create Repair Work Order UI and appear in the Depot Repair Workbench.

In the Add Part page you can use a Depot Repair Return/RMA service activity code (SAC) to create the depot repair return part requirement and a corresponding shipment part requirement.

Click Order on the Part Requirement table the Service Request Parts tab to create the sales order return and shipment lines to start the depot repair process.

  2. Order line type (OLT) must be associated with a service activity code (SAC) with the Depot Repair Logistics business process and the RETURN line category.
