Create Transfer Orders

Use the Create Transfer Order action to perform transfers between organizations and subinventories.

To create a transfer order:

1. From the Reverse Logistics Dispositions search page or the Dispositions Details page, select the Create Transfer Order action to open the Create Transfer Order drawer.

2. Enter transfer order details in the Create Transfer Order drawer. You'll enter a destination organization, destination subinventory, requested ship date, and a shipping method.

   Fields	Attribute Descriptions
   Disposition Code	Defaults from row selected.
   Disposition Description	Defaults from row selected.
   Serial Number	Defaults from row selected.
   Asset Number	Defaults from row selected.
   UOM	Primary UOM of the item.
   Quantity	The number of items to be transferred.
   Stocking Location	Defaults from row selected.
   Destination Organization	Destination inventory organization must be set up in Manage Stocking Locations page for at least one of its Subinventories.
   Destination Subinventory	Includes the subinventory associated with the organization.
   Requested Ship Date	Defaults as the system date.
   Shipping Method	Shipping methods must be set up for the source organization in the Manage Carriers page.

3. Click Create Transfer Order. After the validation, a transfer order transaction is created.
