Transfer Inventory

Use the Transfer Inventory action to transfer items marked for disposition from the central depot to a parts recovery location.

To transfer inventory:

1. From the Reverse Logistics Dispositions search page or the Dispositions Details page, select Transfer Inventory to open the Transfer Inventory drawer.

2. Enter transfer details in the Transfer Inventory drawer. You'll enter an destination organization, type, destination subinventory, and if available, a locator.

   Item	Defaults from row selected.
   Disposition Code	Defaults from row selected.
   Disposition Description	Defaults from row selected.
   Asset Number	Defaults from row selected.
   UOM	Primary UOM of the item.
   Quantity	The number of items to be transferred.
   Revision	Defaults from row selected.
   Description	The item description.
   Serial Number	Defaults from row selected.
   Stocking Location	Defaults from row selected.
   Destination Organization	Destination Inventory Org must be set up in Manage Stocking Locations page for at least one of its Subinventories.
   Type	Includes valid values from the Set up Manage Inventory Transaction Sources and Types page.
   Destination Subinventory	Includes the subinventory associated with the organization.
   Locator	Includes existing locator codes for the selected inventory organization and subinventory.
   Address	Uses the subinventory internal location address or the inventory organization internal location address.
   Shipment Number	The auto-generated shipment number.

3. Click Transfer. After the validation, an inventory transfer transaction is created.
