Disposition Details
You can use the Dispositions Details page to perform several disposition transactions.
You can:
- Create a disposition.
- Add an attachment.
- View an asset overview.
- Review an item status.
- Delete a disposition.
- Perform other transactions:
- Transfer inventory.
- Create a transfer order.
- Create a repair order.
- Create a miscellaneous transaction.
- To create a disposition:
- Click Edit.
- In the Disposition Code LOV, Select a shipping method, such as Scrap.
- Click Update.
- To add an attachment:
- Select the Add notes and attachments icon.
- In the Who can see this? LOV, select a shipping method.
- In the Comments field, add a note description.
- In the Attachments field, select or drop files.
- Save.
Note: When viewing attachments, you can filter them by audience and date range. - To view an asset-related overview in the Maintenance Cloud, click the
View Asset Overview button.Note: For non-asset items, the View Asset Overview link is disabled.
- To review the item status:
- Select the Item Status tab to review the item status.
You can view:
- Item quantity status across multiple organizations and subinventories.
- Item quantities by their specific revisions, not just at the subinventory level.
- Track each revision’s condition and quantity.

Review the overall counts by stocking location for the:
- On-Hand Total
- Usable Total
- Defective Total
For each selected item and revision, the On-Hand Quantity, Usable Quantity, and Defective Quantity columns list quantities by stocking location.
- Select the Item Status tab to review the item status.
- To delete the disposition, select the Delete Disposition
action from the action menu.Note: If a repair order exists for the item, you can't delete it.

- Click the Transfer Inventory button to transfer inventory.
- Select the Create Transfer Order action to create transfer orders.
- Select the Create Repair Order action to create repair orders.
- Select the Create Miscellaneous Transaction action to create transactions.
