Manual Non-Federal Fund Academic Year Changes

Whenever a manual non-federal fund changes academic years, the fund remains within the academic year originally assigned.

Overview

This triggers a task in the Re-evaluate non-federal fund task queue titled Manual Non-federal fund no longer aligns with academic year. This task prompts you to review the fund manually so that students are awarded correctly. To resolve the issue, you can update the academic year dates and award year that the non-federal fund is in.

Required Role Permissions

The user must have a role with the following General Permission(s) through Roles Management in order to complete the manual processing steps listed below.

  • Student
  • NFF Workflow
  • NFF Eval Review Task
  • Document Permissions associated with Non-Federal Funds

Manual Processing Steps

Log into the Student Financial Planning User Interface (UI)

Enter the student's external student ID number in the search field located in the upper right-hand corner
  1. Navigate to Dashboard > Re-Evaluate NFF Fund task queue.
  2. Start Task. Review the Non-Federal Fund and determine if the fund can disburse as is or if it should be updated. Make updates as needed.
  3. Complete Task.
