Letter Templates and Delivered Letters

Oracle delivers Letter templates and Letters. You can also customize delivered Letters.

Oracle delivers Letter templates that contain lorem Ipsum text and dynamic fields that are populated by simple queries.

Your business or regulatory office should provide appropriate letter verbiage. Use the Groovy-based Letter Guide configuration to determine when to use the letter template to generate a letter.

Letters are generated automatically based on configuration. Once generated, they can also be printed from the Student Financial Aid (SFA) FAS UI. See Student Letters.

Note: Letters that are Student Financial Planning (SFP) related only are noted in the Description.

You can also update delivered Letters by following these steps:

  1. Access Oracle Analytics Server (OAS).
  2. Navigate to Shared Folders > SFP Letters Samples.
  3. Click Edit on the Letter you want to update.
  4. Click Edit under the Letter template to download the template.
  5. Complete any updates directly on the downloaded template.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Upload to your SFP Letters Samples folder.
