Trigger Repackage Process

You can manually trigger a repackage using the FAS UI. When you repackage using the UI, the system only repackages the student for the enrollment that you’re viewing in the UI.

Overview

You can also use the FasAtWillRepackageEvent message to manually repackage. When using this message, you can specify a particular enrollment or trigger repacking for all enrollments associated with the student.

Required Role Permissions

The user must have a role with the following General Permission(s) through Roles Management in order to complete the manual processing steps.

  • Student
  • At Will Repackage

Manual Processing Steps

Log into the Student Financial Planning User Interface (UI).

  1. In the FAS, search for the student's external student ID number.
  2. Navigate to Student > Financial Information > Packaging.
  3. Click Repackage.
  4. Enter a repackaging reason in the Description field.
  5. Click Repackage.
  6. Refresh the screen and review Repackaging Reason. You can see the Repackaging Reason in the Package Summary and if you mouse over the Packaging Version.
