How the Integration Creates Subscriptions

The integration follows these steps to create subscriptions from order lines:

1. Send Order Lines:

   Order Management sends order lines to Subscription Management through the integration service.

2. Evaluate and Group Lines:

   Subscription Management evaluates the incoming data and groups lines using the defined attributes.

3. Create Subscription Records:

   For each unique group, a new subscription header is created, and related order lines are added as subscription products.

4. Derive Header Details:

   Subscription-level attributes such as Business Unit, Bill-to, and Ship-to details are derived from the originating order.

5. Activate and Manage:

   After creation, subscriptions progress through activation, billing, and renewal processes in Subscription Management.
