Update Multiple Claims

Deduction departments might be responsible for resolving millions of deductions each year. A single dispute or issue might have hundreds related deductions.

You can select and update multiple open claims, deductions, and overpayments at a time. The Mass Update capability provides you with the ability to:

  • Search and select multiple customer claims.

  • Confirm you have selected the correct claims.

  • Update the selected claims.

How to Update Multiple Claims

To update multiple claims, do the following:

  1. On the Claims page, search and select multiple open claims, deductions, and overpayments.
  2. Click Update.
  3. On the Mass Update Claims page, update the following attributes, as required:
    • Claim Type
    • Claim Reason
    • Status
    • Owner
    • Additional Information: descriptive flexfields with a global context
    • Notes
    • Attachments
  4. Click Submit to start the mass update. The Mass Update Claims scheduled process is initiated automatically to ensure a responsive user experience.
