Duplicate a Planning Level Profile

You can duplicate a planning level profile in any status. However, before you save the new planning level profile in the Enabled status, you must ensure that the planning level profile has a unique set of hierarchy-level combinations.

1. In the Demand Management work area, on the Tasks panel tab, in Configuration, click Manage Planning Level Profiles.
   The Manage Planning Level Profiles page opens.
2. Select the planning level profile that you want to duplicate, and click the Duplicate icon.
   The Duplicate Planning Level Profile dialog box opens.
3. Enter a unique name for the new planning level profile, and click OK.
   The description and aggregation levels for the original planning level profile are displayed, and the status of the new planning level profile is automatically set to Draft.
4. Change your selections on the Aggregation Levels tab, and click Save and Close.
   Note: Ensure that the hierarchy-level combinations for your new planning level profile aren't the same as those for another planning level profile in the Enabled or Ready status. Otherwise, you can't change the status of your new profile to Enabled. You can't use your new profile to ignore the Customer dimension if you're already using another profile for this purpose.

What to do next

After you've verified that your new profile meets your business requirements, select Enabled in the Status field.

Measure data is aggregated according to the profile when you submit it or all profiles in the Enabled or Ready status through the Aggregate Collected Planning Data scheduled process.
