Configure Descriptive Flexfields for Approved Manufacturers List

You can add descriptive flexfields for manufacturer parts and display these in Add AML and Edit AML pages.

Here's how:

1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to the following:
   • Offering: Product Management
   • Functional Area: Items
   • Task: Manage Item Relationship Descriptive Flexfields
2. In the Manage Item Relationship Descriptive Flexfields page, select EGP_ITEM_RELATIONSHIPS_DFF and click Edit .
3. In the Context Segment and the Context Sensitive Segment areas, enter applicable values.
4. Select the Required check box to ensure that the selected context segment descriptive flexfield has values.
5. Click Manage Contexts to configure the context definitions and segments.
   Note: Add MFG_ as prefix for the Context Code field in the Manage Contexts page in order for the segments to show up in the AML context.
6. Click Save and Close and then click Deploy Flexfield.
