Create Deletion Groups

To create a deletion group:

  1. On the Product Management landing page, in the Actions panel, click View all actions.

    The Actions drawer is displayed.

  2. Click the Deletion Groups link.

    The Deletion Groups page is displayed.

  1. Click Create.
    The New Deletion Group page is displayed.
  2. Enter a Name and Description for the deletion group.
  3. To add items:
    1. On the Items tab, click the Add icon to open the Select and add items drawer panel.
    2. Search and select the items you want to add and click Add.
      The items are added to the Items tab.
  4. To add structures:
    1. Click the Structures tab.
    2. Click the Add icon to open the Select and add structures drawer panel.
    3. Search and select the structures you want to add and click Add.
      The structures are added to the Structures tab.
  5. To add components:
    1. Click the Components tab.
    2. Click the Add icon to open the Select and add components drawer panel.
    3. Search and select the components you want to add and click Add.
      The components are added to the Components tab.
  6. To add change orders:
    1. Click the Change Orders tab.
    2. Click the Add icon to open the Select and add change orders drawer panel.
    3. Search and select the change orders you want to add and click Add.
      The change orders are added to the Change Orders tab.
  7. To add new item requests:
    1. Click the New Item Requests tab.
    2. Click the Add icon to open the Select and add new item requests drawer panel.
    3. Search and select the new item requests you want to add and click Add.
      The new item requests are added to the New Item Requests tab.
  8. Click Create.
    The deletion group is created and is displayed on the Deletion Groups page.

    You can check constraint and submit the deletion group for processing or click Save and Close to close the deletion group.
