Run the Scheduled Process Named Orchestrate Load Measures Processes

This topic provides you with steps to copy measures from one plan to another or within a plan in Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain Planning by using the scheduled process named Orchestrate Load Measures Processes.

Before you start

Ensure that the source and target plans have run without errors. Otherwise, they won't be available for selection in the From Plan and To Plan fields.
Tip: You can check the status of the plans using the Status column on the Manage Plans page.

You should also have created your measure copy set using the Load Measures from Other Plans page in the Demand Management, Demand and Supply Planning, or Sales and Operations Planning work area.

Here's what to do

  1. In the Scheduled Processes work area, click Schedule New Process on the Overview page.
The Schedule New Process dialog box opens.
  2. Search for and select the job named Orchestrate Load Measures Processes, and then click OK.
The Process Details dialog box opens.
  3. Provide the parameters for the scheduled process:
    1. In From Plan, search for and select a source plan.
    2. In To Plan, search for and select a target plan.

Only the target plans that are compatible with the source plan are available for selection.

    3. In Measure Copy Set, select a measure copy set.
Note: If the source and target plans are the same, ensure that no row in the measure copy set has the same measure as the source and target.
    4. To create combinations in the target plan for the source measures for which data is copied, select Create new combinations.

The combinations are created within the scope of the target plan if they don't already exist there.

If you don't select this checkbox, data isn't copied for source plan combinations that don't exist in the target plan.

    5. In the section titled Copy Range Relative to Start Date, enter nonzero integers in the Time Level Range Start and Time Level Range End fields for the time-level range for which data must be copied.

For historical periods, use negative integers. For the historical time bucket just before the plan start date, enter –1. For the first time bucket, enter 1. You can copy data for historical or future time buckets. You can copy data for a time-level range in the past, from a historical time bucket to a future time bucket, or between two future time buckets.

The Copy Time Level field is read-only and displays the planning time level for copying data from the source plan to the target plan.

  4. Enter submission notes for the scheduled process.
  5. To be notified when the scheduled process ends whether the outcome is successful or not, select the checkbox named Notify me when this process ends.
  6. To use the advanced options, click Advanced:
    1. On the Schedule tab, select As soon as possible to submit the scheduled process immediately.

Or, select Using a schedule, and use the fields that appear to submit the scheduled process later or according to a schedule.

    2. On the Notification tab, provide the details of individuals who must be notified when the scheduled process ends and the conditions in which the notifications are sent.
  7. Click Submit.
A confirmation dialog box is displayed. You can use the displayed process ID to search for the result of the scheduled process in the Scheduled Processes work area.
  8. Click OK.
The Process Details dialog box is closed.
