Configuring an Enhanced Workbench Layout

Workbench layouts are another type of user interface that can be configured. Much like manager layouts, you can create your own workbench layouts. Once you have created a workbench layout, you can add it to a user-defined menu to use it.

  1. Create a Workbench Layout.
  2. Add the workbench layout to a user-defined menu.
  3. Use Manage User Access to use the menu. This can be managed at the User, Level or User Role levels.  You can exclude or include Workbench Layouts.

Configure Certain OTM Actions to use a User-configured Workbench Layout

You can configure some actions to use a user-configured Workbench Layout.  By default all mapping actions use a PUBLIC Workbench Layout.  If you want to configure a Workbench Layout using user-configured screen sets, etc., you can have OTM use your user-configured Workbench Layout for relevant actions. Refer to Setting up a Layout for use with an OTM Action for details.
