How To Use Maps

The following map controls are available. Additionally the default icons used on the map are explained below.

Note: The use of advanced layouts has been deprecated as of the 6.4.3 release and will be removed in a later release. You should start using workbench layouts instead. See Using a Workbench Map Component for details.

Map Controls and Navigation

• Double-clicking on the map centers the map at the point clicked and zooms in one level.
• Use the scale control to zoom in and out.
  
  
• Use the arrow control to move around the map from left to right, top to bottom.
  
  
• Click to see the map legend.

Configurable Map Options

You can configure the map display by changing properties and parameters. See the glog.map.properties and map logic configuration topics for more information.
