Send Content/Document/Revision

This page is accessed via:

  • Business Process Automation > Document Manager > Actions > Send Content.
  • Customs > Declarations. On the Documents tab:
    • click the Actions icon  (Actions icon) next to a Standard Document. Click Content > Send Document.
    • click the Details (Details icon) icon next to a Standard Document. Click the Actions icon for a Document. Click Content > Send Document.
  • Shipment Management > Shipment Management > Buy Shipments or Sell Shipments. On the Documents tab:
    • click the Actions icon (Actions icon) next to a Standard Document. Click Content > Send Document.
    • click the Details (Details icon) icon next to a Standard Document. Click the Actions icon for a Document. Click Content > Send Document.
    • click the Details icon next to a Standard Document. In the Revisions section, click the Actions icon next to a Revision. Click Content > Send Revision.
    • click the Details icon next to a Standard Document. In the Revisions section, click the Details icon next to a Revision. Click the Actions icon for a Revision. Click Content > Send Revision.
    • click the Actions icon for an Additional Document. Click Send Content.
  • Transactions > Trade Transactions. On the Documents tab:
    • click the Actions icon (Actions icon) next to a Standard Document. Click Content > Send Document.
    • click the Details (Details icon) icon next to a Standard Document. Click the Actions icon next to the Status button. Click Content > Send Document.
    • click the Details icon next to a Standard Document. In the Revisions section, click the Actions icon next to a Revision. Click Content > Send Revision.
    • click the Details icon next to a Standard Document. In the Revisions section, click the Details icon next to a Revision. Click the Actions icon for a Revision. Click Content > Send Revision.
  • Trade Agreements > Campaign Lines. On the Documents tab:
    • click the Actions icon (Actions icon) next to a Standard Document. Click Content > Send Document.
    • click the Details (Details icon) icon next to a Standard Document. Click the Actions icon next to the Status button. Click Content > Send Document.
    • click the Details icon next to a Standard Document. In the Revisions section, click the Actions icon next to a Revision. Click Content > Send Revision.
    • click the Details icon next to a Standard Document. In the Revisions section, click the Details icon next to a Revision. Click the Actions icon for a Revision. Click Content > Send Revision.

This action sends a document or document revision to be sent to one or more contacts, ad hoc email addresses, or IPP printers.

When sending content to a contact, the form of the content depends on the communication method. For email, fax, or Message Center, Oracle Transportation Management sends out a "Document-Available" notification to the party with a document link or attachment depending on the notification stylesheet. For print, Oracle Transportation Management sends out raw content to the IPP printer associated with the content.

This action also allows you to send the document to a set of ad hoc email addresses. The document is sent out as a "Document-Available" email to the addresses.

This action also allows you to print the selected documents to a set of printers configured in Oracle Analytics Publisher.

The corresponding agent action is Send Standard Document, and appears on business objects such as buy shipments and trade transactions.

Select a Revision

If there are multiple revisions for a standard document, the Select a Revision section appears. Use this section to specify which revision of the document you wish to send.

  1. Enter a Reply To. The contact you select must have an email defined. If no reply to is specified, then the glog.mail.replyTo property is used to determine the reply to. Note that this property can contain a list of comma-delimited addresses to support multiple reply to parties. Multiple reply to parties are not supported when using a reply to contact.

Contacts

  1. Enter a Contact ID.
  2. Select a Communication Method.
  3. Click Save for each contact defined.

Email Addresses

  1. Enter an Email Address.
  2. Click Save for each email address entered.

Printers

  1. Enter a Printer.
  2. Enter the Number of Copies.
  3. Enter the Page Ranges.
  4. Click Save for each printer defined.
  5. Click Submit.
