Shipment Management

Tender Acceptance Status

The tender acceptance status indicates whether a tender was accepted by a service provider. Use tender acceptance statuses to determine what action, if any, you have taken regarding the tender offer on a shipment.

The following are valid tender acceptance statuses:

  • ACCEPTED: The service provider agrees to carry the shipment.
  • DECLINED: The service provider refuses to carry the shipment.
  • NO RESPONSE: The service provider has not responded to the tender offer.
  • PARTIALLY ACCEPTED: The service provider has previously accepted transport handling units off the tender.

You can define which statuses are displayed for each user by creating a status type filter and then using Manage User Access to associate the User Access Type of Status Type Filter with a particular user. When you have done so, a small arrow appears near the top of the Status window. Clicking the arrow displays all of the statuses, not just the ones displayed by the filter. Bold statuses are ones that appear in the filter, and regular ones are statuses hidden by the filter.
